Wicked News

*squee* Part of the Wicked LA cast has been announced...Eden Espinosa(!) as Elphaba and Megan Hilty as Glinda. I'm so happy!!!!!! Eden is AMAZING and Megan sounds good, at least from samples I've heard (they were recently on Broadway together). Sorry...I just had to share this exciting (at least to me) piece of info.

Ok...I didn't want to bother you guys again, but you know how I said I'd come home next week, Thursday or Friday? I think plans have changed...a few people from the Coop are planning a going away party for Sindy next Saturday (she's going to grad school near Riverside). They haven't come up with all the details, so if it's ok with you, I might try to come home Saturday (after the party) or Sunday afternoon (if it gets late on Saturday).

And as for returning to LA for move-in, I was wondering if it's ok if I come back Thursday night or Friday morning (Sept. 21 or 22) because one of the career workers at the Coop is retiring and she asked if me and Andy would come back "the Friday before the 25th" to say bye to her. If there's a problem though, I can always go back at the end of next week to say bye, so it's not a big problem.

So...sorry to bother you again with all this crazy crap...I'll try to call later when things are more clear and I know for sure what's going on. But you can call me if you want anytime!!!! Ok...that's it for now...Adios!

Kimi...your "Fantastic" suggestion really works well! It cleans the board better than the board cleaner and smells 10 times better! Mmmm...lemon fresh =). I shall keep paper towels and Fantastic near the board now and my board monitor can clean it each day =). Hooray!

While it was only the first day and 5 kids did not show (including 1 potential behavior problem), I'm going to formally state that it appears that another decent year is in store =). Crap...now that I've said that something crazy will happen! My numbers are so low though, 5th grade may be folding a class if things continue...I hope we stay with 20 =0). My kids are super cute again!!! I have another Christian this year (only with a "Ch"...he came scurrying through the door with a huge smile this morning..."he was so excited to come to school because he had you!" offered his mom =). I have also commited to camp again this year...how could I say no when my favorite kids are going?!? =)
